OxfordMUN Canada

OxfordMUN Canada is a non-profit conference hosted by Oxford Global and the LinkedKey Foundation. OxfordMUN Canada is led by Oxford Global’s team in the United Kingdom and is supported by staff and students from the Greater Toronto Area.

OxfordMUN Canada’s mission is to bring academic rigour and realism back to Model UN, and is committed to a more authentic, traditional MUN experience. In pursuit of intellectual and personal growth, OxfordMUN Canada aims to push students to vastly expand their knowledge bases, and refine & develop their speaking skills.

Throughout the conference, students can expect to interact with some of the nation’s best and brightest students, and through a very generous financial aid policy, no student will be left out of the conversation.

Oxford Global

Oxford Global is the organizer of OxfordMUN in the United Kingdom (hosted at venues of Oxford University), and runs the UK’s largest and most established high school conference. Oxford Global was originally founded as a student club at the University of Oxford where it built its reputation as one of the world’s leading Model UN programs, and was subsequently developed into a social enterprise to allow the running of international periphery conferences in India, China, and now for the first time, Canada.

Oxford Global brings to OxfordMUN Canada a wealth of experience and institutional knowledge in running world-class conferences. In addition to the prestige and reputation of its education events, Oxford Global uniquely has PhDs and other graduate level students and alumni on their team, delivering some of the highest level of quality control for the international high school circuit.

As of their most recent Home Conference, their team composed of over 50 students from the University of Oxford (undergraduate & graduate) and they are growing rapidly as OxfordMUN builds its reputation abroad. Oxford Global is excited for the future of Model UN, and they look forward to seeing you all in April 2025.
