Dr. Joana Perrone
Director-General
Dr Perrone is an educator with experience in higher education, supercurricular activities and research skills. She has a BA in International Relations from the University of Sussex, a Masters in Women’s Studies, and a PhD in Area Studies from Wadham College, University of Oxford, which focused on feminicide in Brazil. She was an avid MUNner in school and at university, having competed in over 30 national and regional events in the Americas and in Europe. In the past few years, she has organised and chaired over 25 Model UN conferences in Asia, South Asia and Europe, pioneering several new international OxfordMUN conferences such as Singapore, India, as well as ASYL in China and Dubai. Dr Perrone has been teaching at a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs at the university since 2019. Her book “Embodied Struggles”, on gender violence in Latin America will be published in late 2025.

Natalie Jones
Secretary-General
Natalie is an educator with experience in secondary education, curriculum design, further education and apprenticeships. She completed her undergraduate degree in English at New College, Oxford, and her Masters in Development Management at the London School of Economics. She has been involved with MUN for over a decade, having run 25 conferences across the UK, Europe and Asia. After Oxford, she moved on to do a PGDE with Teach First, serving as a teacher alongside working as an Oxbridge admissions expert, supporting students applying to Oxford and Cambridge. Subsequently, she served as a Program Leader for a multi-national EdTech company valued at over $1 billion, working with companies such as Microsoft to deliver apprenticeship programs for career starters. Outside of Oxford Global, she has designed educational learning experiences for high school students across the globe, and she has previously co-founded a consultancy company that delivered international expansion initiatives for companies in the UK
